This role is for someone who…
* Has an analytical profile and strong attention to detail;
* Enjoys working with accounting, tax, and financial control routines;
* Is proactive, organized, and comfortable following up on processes independently;
* Enjoys collaborating with different teams and supporting internal process organization.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the internal point of contact with the accounting firm, ensuring proper follow-up and organization of accounting and tax information;
* Support monthly closing activities, including analysis of trial balances, balance sheets, and P&L statements;
* Issue and validate service and sales invoices, supporting tax calculation and tax review routines;
* Organize accounting, tax, and financial documentation, supporting internal controls, reconciliations, and audits;
* Maintain contact with customers and suppliers regarding fiscal and operational documentation matters;
* Contribute to process improvements and organization of accounting, tax, and internal control routines.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree completed or in the final stages in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields;
* Previous experience or academic exposure to accounting, tax, or financial routines;
* Understanding of financial statements such as balance sheets and P&L reports;
* Experience with invoice issuance and fiscal documentation;
* Good organizational and analytical skills;
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
* Intermediate Excel skills;
* Advanced English.
Nice to Have…
* Previous experience working alongside accounting firms;
* Familiarity with Brazilian tax routines and tax processes;
* Experience with ERP systems and accounting/financial controls;
* Knowledge of reconciliations and monthly closing activities;
* Interest in process improvement and internal controls.
