Your responsibilities include
* Translating business needs into clear functional specifications, including use cases, UI flows, business rules, and data models.
* Analysing and documenting functional requirements for existing and evolving applications.
* Supporting development teams during implementation through functional alignment and sanity checks.
* Performing impact analyses for change requests.
* Investigating and analysing functional issues and incidents.
* Defining test scenarios and executing functional test cases.
* Validating delivered functionality against agreed requirements.
* Ensuring functional consistency across related systems and modules.
* Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to clarify needs and priorities.
* Working with developers to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
* Maintaining functional documentation throughout the assignment.
What are we looking for?
* You have proven experience as a
Functional Analyst
in a digital or IT context.
* You have hands-on experience with
functional analysis
and
requirements documentation
.
* You have experience with
data modelling
.
* You have working knowledge of
SQL
.
* You have experience defining and executing
test scenarios and test cases
.
* You are familiar with
UML
for functional modelling.
* You have experience working with
XML
and
XSD
.
* You are comfortable collaborating with both business stakeholders and development teams.
* You are fluent in
Dutch
, and have a good working knowledge of
French
and
English
.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience working on public-sector or regulatory-driven platforms.
* Prior exposure to systems related to learning, training, or career services.
