Your Role
As the Product Owner for financial systems, you will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and evolving our financial application landscape. You act as the bridge between Finance, operational teams, external vendors, and end users, ensuring the smooth and coherent use of tools such as ERP (Unit4), consolidation tool (Sigma Consul), future FP&A solution, and Certinia (Call to Cash integrated with Salesforce).
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership & Roadmap of Financial Systems
* Manage a portfolio of financial applications: follow up of vendor contracts, lifecycle management, fit for purpose analysis
* Translate business needs into functional evolutions within the tools
* Customer Focus & Support
* Act as first point of contact for users in finance, controlling, HR, and operational teams
* Ticket management: understand issues, contact the right party, follow up and communicate until resolution
* Coordinate external vendors or internal IT partners (without coding yourself)
* Communication & Governance
* Transparent reporting on system status, open tickets, and planned evolutions
* Manage application governance: access rights, documentation, usage rules
* Communicate in the organizations three working languages: Dutch, French, and English
Profile
Technical & Functional Knowledge
Proven experience (at least 3 to 5 years) in a similar role (Product Owner, Application Owner, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, etc.)
Strong understanding of financial processes (reporting, budgeting, invoicing, month end closing, etc.)
Experience with Unit4, Sigma Consul, FP&A tools, or Certinia is a plus
