Our client in Aviation Customer is actively driving a large-scale digital transformation through its Integrated Network Management (iNM) programme, aiming to modernise mission-critical air traffic management systems across Europe by 2030.
🎯 Role Overview
As an Automation Tester, you will take end-to-end ownership of test automation, from strategy and framework design to CI/CD integration, ensuring high-quality, compliant and reliable systems in a highly regulated environment.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (OOP, design patterns)
* Implement web test automation using Playwright
* Develop and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber / Gherkin
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
* Run tests in containerized environments (Docker)
* Monitor, analyse and report test results using Xray (Jira)
* Ensure full traceability between requirements and test cases
* Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and QA teams
* Produce test documentation, reports and analysis
* Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices
✅ Skills & Qualifications
* Strong experience in Python test automation (PyTest, Cypress)
* Solid understanding of OOP and test design patterns
* Proven expertise with Playwright for web automation
* Experience with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin)
* CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins
* Good knowledge of Docker for test execution
* Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, Xray
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership

* Performance testing experience (Locust, JMeter)
