Our client, a company active in Industrial manufacturing in the region of Mons is looking for a self-employed (Freelance) Project Engineer for a period of minimum 12 months.
The mission is to ensure the timely installation of client's modules by the project subcontractors. You will be the liaison for our company at the data center construction site.
The Project engineer key responsibilities will include:
All responsibilities are handled with the General Contractor
Project planning: Assisting with schedule development, defining objectives and deliverables, and identifying required resources (material and human)
Coordination with the General Contractor: Ensuring clear communication between teams and stakeholders, organizing work to meet deadlines
Budget monitoring: Tracking costs, managing expenses, and handling extras (valuation and presentation to the client)
Reporting: Preparing progress reports, documenting key decisions and issues, and participating in regular meetings with the client and the General Contractor
Risk and issue management: Identifying risks, implementing mitigation plans, and resolving problems effectively
The key qualifications required for the role of project engineer :
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or
Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination
Fluent in English and French
