ROLE SUMMARY
This Vice President will lead the development and execution of integrated, client-focused marketing initiatives targeted at the Third-Party Wealth (TPW) client channel across The Netherlands and Belgium. The Vice President will work closely with the global, regional and local Marketing and Sales teams, driving the local go-to-market strategy, leveraging messaging strategy, content creation, digital marketing, events and sponsorships, and social media to create end-to-end campaigns and programs in service of the commercial objectives of the business in the region.
The TPW client channel includes discretionary and advisory wealth managers, private banks, and fund platforms. The Vice President will partner with client-facing business teams to understand commercial objectives and set marketing strategies that help fuel our business growth objectives with this critical segment. The role will also focus on building strategic partnerships and delivering relevant marketing initiatives that align with client needs, preferences and engagement strategies.
The Vice President is expected to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and strategic external partners to co-create marketing initiatives that drive commercial growth by addressing specific client challenges, enhancing partner value propositions and deepening relationships across key distribution networks in the region.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing implementation: Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness and support the growth of the TPW client segment in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Marketing calendar: Oversee the development of a coordinated marketing calendar that harmonizes brings together globally planned initiatives (incl. content) and local amplification and events.
Events and Sponsored Conferences: Develop an integrated event calendar.Plan, organise and coordinate regional events, sponsorships and roadshows in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client priorities and supporting TPW brand and relationship-building efforts.
Campaigns and execution: Bring local strategic points of views to EMEA-wide initiatives to ensure relevance for the segment in region. Augment regionally planned campaigns and product launches with locally tailored initiatives, leveraging a range of channels including email, events, and potentially paid media to maximize effectiveness.
Content creation and translations : Partner with Content & Product Marketing to deliver a content calendar which supports the TPW marketing plan in the Netherlands and Belgium, including content creation, translation and distribution to our clients in the region.
Collateral: Create and develop client materials in partnership with AM’s design team and product marketing to support local partnerships and client demand.
Measurement and Reporting: End-to-end reporting and measurement of day-to-day and campaign-related marketing impact, delivering clear Marketing Return on Investment (MROI) and taking active steps to adjust marketing approach as necessary to optimize impact.
Risk management: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications
Team connectivity: Take an active role in the AM Marketing team, adopting a collaborative approach, sharing best practices, being involved in programs outside primary region as relevant, and contributing to the team's overall success.
Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships within AM Marketing other AM Marketing colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years in a similar role within a leading financial institution with an outstanding track record with measurable impacts and achievements
Fluency in French and English is essential, Flemish/Dutch preferred
Knowledge of the asset management industry: clients, products, regulations, competitors, with specific deep knowledge of regulatory requirements for the Belgian and Dutch market
Deep understanding of the distribution channels and client touchpoints within banks or other financial distribution platforms
A strong understanding of all marketing mediums including digital, social and collateral
Strong financial acumen and interest in investment views and markets with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story
Demonstrable track record of working effectively across matrixed, complex organizations with strong communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to engage with partners at all levels
Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
