The project:
Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Operational Control Officer to strengthen their team.
Key responsibilities include identifying, reporting, and monitoring operational risk focal points within stakeholders' processes and daily operations. You will advise Data management on their operational risk management and identify potential risks and areas for improvement. In addition, you will participate to the several Operational Permanent Control (OPC) community meetings.
The Operational Control Officer in Data:
* executes risk control self-assessments (RCSA) on business processes
* evaluates the value, efficiency and applicability of existing control frameworks
* execute controls in the Data domain and/or follow-up on their execution
* initiates action plans consistent with the management risk appetite / tolerance and monitors these
* is responsible for the introduction of the historical incidents related to Data and their follow-up
* supports the management of the Data procedures
* takes on an advising role in the exercises of Regulatory Risk Response, Risk Acceptance and New Activity Committee
Is this you?
* You are able to take on a dynamic and proactive facilitator role between both internal and external stakeholders.
* You possess excellent analytical and synthetic skills.
* You are working in a structure way and respect deadlines.
* You have knowledge of compliance, risk management, and process management, or are willing to acquire it quickly.
* You express yourself fluently, both verbally and in writing, in English and in Dutch or French, including presentations to the management.
* Knowledge and/or interest in the Data domain is a plus.
