Job Description
We are searching for the best talent for the Regional Medical Affairs Manager – Hematology LATAM to be in Brazil, Mexico, or Colombia.
Responsibilities
* Strong connection with global and local Medical Affairs teams fostering collaboration and ensuring local needs are brought up and the global strategy cascades down.
* Contribute to the development of the worldwide medical affairs strategy (WWMAS) shaping and influencing the global team to have LATAM gaps and needs incorporated in it.
* Develop the regional and contribute to global IEGP, lead and follow-up of regional Medical Affairs initiatives for molecules under responsibility.
* Responsible for data generation activities execution as the study responsible physician / specialist in accordance with current SOPs and aligned with MAO.
* Connect and engage with relevant external stakeholders to gain input, prepare, and shape the environment for the applicable therapeutic area.
* Develop in collaboration with the IBVT the brand and business strategy, fostering an environment where decisions are driven by science and data.
* Co-responsible for J&J compliance.
Qualifications
* Deep scientific knowledge according to business/regulatory needs.
Other Requirements
* Deep knowledge of drug development process, including clinical epidemiology, randomized controlled trials, real‑world evidence studies, phase 4 studies, and publication plans.
* 5‑7 years of work experience, preferred in pharma industry, ideally in Medical Affairs with a minimum of three years of relevant experience – Hematology highly desired; proven track record of interacting with people with complex accountabilities and broad experience working with teams outside of medical affairs.
* Experience in medical strategy development and execution.
* Communication and presentation skills.
* Business acumen.
* Teamwork, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix environment.
* Deep understanding of healthcare and medical compliance.
* Pharmaceutical market knowledge.
* Proven capacity to work through complexity, difficulty, and adverse situations with agility and adaptability.
* Previous medical experience or similar level desirable.
* Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values.
* English: fluency is mandatory.
* Spanish and Portuguese: fluency is highly desired.
