NEXEO is currently looking for a Business Analyst for a mission based in Brussels, with a hybrid working setup.
We are seeking a consultant to support renewable energy systems and asset management initiatives, focusing on integration with power markets, grid operations, and energy trading activities .
Mission Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs and translating them into functional solutions related to renewable energy asset management and trading systems.
You will collaborate with business, IT, and market stakeholders to ensure efficient system implementation and alignment with operational and market requirements .
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
* Identify and analyze business requirements related to renewable energy asset management
* Support integration of renewable energy systems into electrical grids and power markets
* Contribute to renewable energy trading and contract management (PPA) processes
Functional Design & Documentation
* Write functional requirement documents for asset management, contract management, and trading systems
* Produce comprehensive documentation (user guides, onboarding materials, end-to-end process documentation)
Testing & Validation
* Define and execute test cases to validate system functionalities
* Ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions
Profile Required
* Experience as a Business Analyst in energy, utilities, or related sectors
* Knowledge of renewable energy systems and power asset management
* Understanding of energy markets, trading, and PPA contracts (strong asset)
* Familiarity with financial product pricing is a plus
Technical Skills
* Good knowledge of SQL and Python
* Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
* Experience with relational databases
* Background in data analysis, software development, or data science
Soft Skills
* Strong xphnsxz analytical and system thinking skills
* Ability to simplify complex topics and provide structured insights
* Proactive problem-solving mindset
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
