The Transaction Observability PlatformOur Transaction Observability platform helps financial institutions monitor and understand the flow of transactions across complex banking systems. By bringing together data from multiple sources and payment formats, the platform allows teams to trace transactions end-to-end, investigate issues quickly, and maintain operational visibility across their payment infrastructure.The product is used by banks globally to analyse transaction flows, support operational teams, and ensure critical payment processes run smoothly.
The RoleWe are looking for a Product Owne r to work closely with our engineering teams on the continued development of the Transaction Observability platform.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused product role. You will work closely with Product Management and Product Development to translate business and customer needs into clear functional requirements that development teams can build from.
You will act as Product Owner for one of the platform squads, managing the backlog, refining requirements, and ensuring work is clearly defined and prioritised so the team can deliver efficiently.The role reports to the Chief Product Officer and works closely with engineering leads, QA, and other product managers across the organisation.
What You'll Work OnYou will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle, including:Translating product and business requirements into functional specifications, epics, and user storiesManaging and refining the squad backlog to ensure work is clearly defined and prioritisedWorking closely with developers and QA to define acceptance criteria and support deliveryCollaborating with Product Management to understand customer needs and product prioritiesSupporting release planning and helping communicate new features and improvements internallyContributing to documentation such as product notes, feature descriptions, and internal training materials
What We're Looking ForAround 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role within a software product environmentExperience working closely with engineering teams and participating actively in the product development lifecycleAbility to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user storiesStrong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, and other internal teamsExperience using product and backlog management tools such as JiraStrong written and spoken English
Right to work in Belgium is required for this role.
Highly Valuable (but not essential)Experience working in fintech, banking, or payment systemsFamiliarity with transaction processing, payment flows, or financial messaging standardsExperience working on complex data platforms or high-volume transaction systemsDutch or French language skills
