About the Role
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications strategies that drive earned media coverage, shape policy narratives, and build executive visibility. You’ll work across sectors including technology, sustainability, healthcare, energy, and more, supporting clients with both corporate and policy-focused communications.
This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or media relations, who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to high-impact campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Support media relations and policy communications programs for major local and global clients.
* Develop and pitch compelling story angles to Brussels and EU policy media, influencers, and content creators.
* Monitor news cycles, policy developments, and cultural trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients.
* Draft and edit media materials, messaging frameworks, and integrated communications plans.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, analysts, and third-party stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, digital, analytics) to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Support issues and crisis communications, including strategic messaging and media monitoring.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development and agency growth.
* Participate in new business efforts and proposal development.
What We’re Looking For
* 3–5 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or media relations, ideally in an agency or in-house setting.
* Proven success in media relations, story development, and pitching, especially within the Brussels/EU media landscape.
* Strong understanding of policy communications, particularly in sectors like technology, telecoms, sustainability, or healthcare.
* Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
* Digitally savvy, with a strategic approach to using traditional, digital, and social media.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Bilingual proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and executing communication strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Our team in Korea works with some of the largest international and local businesses and this is a great opportunity to gain experience on large-scale global communications projects with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Media and Communications
* Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with clients’ business objectives
* Handle issues and crisis management for clients
* Manage all aspects of client projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
* Act as key contact for internal account staff to address issues and queries
* Train and motivate team members
* Contribute to performance reviews
* Create opportunities for team members to enhance growth with the agency
* Attend account reviews and staff meetings – provide ongoing communications and feedback
* Ensure account team members adhere to agency time reporting and financial guidelines
* Involved in staffing of team including reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates and assisting client output
* Deal with crisis and major issue management
Client
* Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts
* Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadlines are met
* Earn the confidence of mid-to-senior level client contacts and executives
* Plan and implement programs; forecast and manage budgets, profitability and receivables
* Proactively handle client problems quickly and adeptly
* Contribute to and promote business development by counseling clients
* Develop and deliver client presentations
* Participate in new business initiatives including research and scoping of opportunities
* Generate new business from existing and new clients by developing programs and pursuing leads
Team Management
* Act as key contact for internal account staff to address issues and queries
* Train and motivate team members
* Contribute to performance reviews
* Create opportunities for team members to enhance growth with the agency

* Ensure adherence to time reporting and financial guidelines

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
* 5–8 years of experience in PR account management, preferably in corporate communications
* Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans
* Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders
* Knowledge of media relations and pitching to journalists
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills that engage internal and external audiences
* Attention to detail with ability to manage full project lifecycles
* Enthusiasm for strategic planning, creative ideation, and long-term client partnerships
* Understand storytelling across press and social platforms
* A team player able to collaborate and lead teams
* Fluency in English and Korean is essential
* Immediate availability preferred
* Proficiency in MS Office and PR tools
* Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
