The Digital Services domain includes all projects, directly and indirectly linked to CM's online self-service, which includes more than 46 different applications. We offer those services through a Web portal and the MyCM Mobile App. The team consists of 7 Agile teams, totalling about 40 employees. Each team is made up of 3 Outsystems developers, a functional analyst-scrum master, a tester, a technical lead, a designer and a product owner.
For MyCM (Web portal and Mobile App), we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with knowledge and experience with OutSystems. This app has 6 domains, including payments, repayments, insurance, documents, personal file management, notifications, an online inbox and is actively used by 800,000 members. For this, you will work closely with your colleague Solution Architect OutSystems.
As a Solution Architect, you are passionate about ICT architecture and application development. You pay attention to new technologies, frameworks, reusability, performance, security, openness, standards, methodologies, etc.
You will design architectural solutions and guidelines within the Outsystems framework to ensure stability, scalability and security. To this end, you will work closely with Security, the Enterprise Architect and Solution Architects, Product Owner, Service Delivery manager and the technical leads.
You deploy AI Tools to optimise your work, Copilot or other AI tools.
You will analyse, specify, update and provide the necessary architecture models for digital solutions in accordance with requirements.
You define and ensure best practices for development within the Outsystems framework.
Based on the Solution Architecture, your experience and broad technical knowledge, you can propose efficient solutions in a targeted manner and take on an advisory role towards optimisation and efficiency.
You act as a coach for the agile teams and can communicate things clearly so that the chosen architecture is developed correctly and you ensure that the chosen solution is implemented. You will also guide the business in applying roadmaps.
Your profile
You have a Master's degree or equivalent through experience and preferably 5 years of experience as a Solution architect preferably in a large organisation or company.
Experience with Outsystems Low Code platform is a must.
Experience in Outsystems development and working in an Agile environment and scrum team are a must.
Excellent command of English, ideally with a good knowledge of French or Dutch.
Experience in software engineering full stack and solution architecture design.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You also have organisational skills and know how to motivate and manage team members in terms of technology.
Proactivity and a sense of responsibility are hugely important.
