The assignmentCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to publication processes, approval workflows, and patent application systemsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including user story writing, backlog management, acceptance criteria definition, and DoD/DoR practicesTranslate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Brief and translate to key development partners for buildFacilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to align on requirements and prioritiesWork closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutionsSupport project management activities including planning, tracking progress, and managing risks and dependenciesDesign and execute test plans, coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure solutions meet business requirementsAnalyze and manage data related to publications and patent applications, ensuring data integrity and usabilityIdentify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutionsMaintain documentation including process flows, system diagrams, and requirement specifications
Required knowledge and skillsProven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in environments involving publications, approvals, or intellectual property/patent processesStrong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., user stories, process mapping, requirement documentation)Solid technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with development teamsExperience with project management principles and tools (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus)Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with workflow automation tools or document management systemsKnowledge of data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile methodologies
