We are looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer to strengthen Alan's Enterprise and Public sector Sales and drive complex customer acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Master our platform and support the Sales team by providing insights, expertise, and relevant tools.

Listen to and understand prospects' needs and work internally on how Alan can address them best.

Build a thorough understanding of each prospect and assess functional alignment with our offering.

Participate in RFP submissions and build Alan's response in collaboration with Sales, Insurance, and Product experts.

Join the customer acquisition journey, evangelizing our services and products.

Act as a voice of the customer, feeding Alan's platform roadmap.

Prepare handover for delightful customer onboardings.

Participate in and coordinate the most complex customer onboardings.

Work in close collaboration with peers in France to share best practices and build a global playbook.

Qualifications

At least 4+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment.

Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch or French .

You are based in Belgium.

Experience in end‑to‑end procurement projects (buyer or supplier side) with involvement in RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.

Strong pitching skills with transparency and no overselling.

Excellent active listening and requirement elicitation, getting to the root cause of customers' concerns.

Assertive and able to handle objections in a complex environment.

Ability to break down complex issues and identify product gaps to define the best solutions.

Strong stakeholder management at high levels.

Excellent prioritisation skills, meeting commitments.

Team player who is eager to learn, grow, and share insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in both Dutch and French.

Experience in Insurance or Health platforms.

Experience in HRIS / Payroll solutions.
