IT System & Security Engineer
Our client is a Belgian company active in the logistics sector, employing approximately 500 people. To support its ongoing digital evolution, we are looking for a strong Windows System Engineer who does not necessarily have extensive IT security experience but demonstrates a clear interest in developing further in this domain. As part of the Infrastructure Team, you are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the server and cloud infrastructure and IT security projects in a role of 50% operational and 50% Project-based work.The environment is primarily based on Microsoft technologies.
Provide basic administration for a limited Linux environmentSupport Microsoft 365 (Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online)Contribute to automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)Participate in incident handling and root cause analysisBachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years of experience as System or Infrastructure EngineerBasic Linux knowledge is sufficientStrong interest in IT Security, ideally supported by initial practical experience in security-related activitiesFluent in Dutch or French, with good command of English
