* Conduct tolerance, sensitivity, and stability analysis across environmental ranges.
* Oversee the integration of optical and mechanical components and ensure precise alignment.
* Analyse test data and adjust designs to ensure system performance meets specifications.
* Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet engineering milestones.
* Manage documentation, resources, and timelines for mechanical and optomechanical activities.
* Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Implement relevant quality procedures to comply with industry standards for space systems.
* Stay current with advancements in mechanical and optomechanical engineering for space.
* Identify and implement improvements in design processes and methodologies.
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optomechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
* 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical or optomechanical engineering.
* Experience in the aerospace or space industry is a strong plus.
* If no aerospace background, strong mechanical design experience will still be considered.
* Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
