The global role of Enterprise Security Architect is a senior position within the IT Security, Risk Management, Data Privacy, and Compliance department. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of IT systems, security standards, authentication protocols, and best practices. As a key member of the IT Security team, the Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for fostering a culture of security awareness, including education and guidance for personnel and project teams to ensure adherence to security policies and standards. The Enterprise Security Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing robust security solutions to protect UCB’s assets and information. What you’ll do Ensure strategic alignment with business and IT objectives. Develop and maintain security architecture in line with industry best practices. Design and propose enterprise security architectures. Produce security documentation and specifications. Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions for applications, networks, and systems. Evaluate technical architectures to maintain security standards. Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security. Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, etc. 10+ years of experience in IT security roles. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, technical design, and implementation. Expertise in security measures like OS hardening, network controls, segmentation, monitoring, and logging.
