Purpose
As an HSE Manager, you will support our Belgian Production site in ensuring compliance with all regulatory measures related to the Belgian Code of Well-Being at Work and environmental legislation. Acting as a Prevention Advisor (Level 2), you will play a key advisory role for both employer and employees across the seven domains of well-being, driving a safe, compliant, and prevention-oriented culture on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform regular workplace visits, analyse workstations when new or increased risks arise, and propose corrective measures
* Conduct an annual full-site risk assessment and analyse accidents/incidents to define preventive actions
* Maintain all HSE documentation, monitor regulatory changes, and implement required legal and ISO updates
* Participate in accident investigations, prepare root-cause analyses, and ensure proper declarations in collaboration with HR
* Prepare monthly and annual HSE reports and ensure rigorous management of all occupational accident records
* Manage the Internal Prevention and Protection Service (SIPP), coordinate medical surveillance, periodic examinations, and interactions with the external SEPP
* Validate and monitor work equipment and PPE, organise field testing, and approve new protective equipment
* Ensure the effective management of the CPPT, including secretariat duties, advisory support to members, and proposing actions to improve well-being
* Take necessary emergency measures in case of danger and ensure proper application of first-aid procedures
* Contribute to the Global Prevention Plan (GPP) and Annual Action Plan (AAP) with internal stakeholders
Qualification
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
* Prevention Advisor Level 2 certification (mandatory)
* Initial experience in an industrial environment
* Strong ability to adapt communication to operators, managers, and external partners
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* Rigorous in applying legislation and internal procedures
* Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
* Proficient in MS Office for reporting and action tracking
* English level: B2
