Requirements:
* 5+ years of IT Audit / Compliance experience
* Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and their critical role in ensuring system integrity and regulatory compliance (e.g., access management, change control, operation security)
* Mandatory familiarity with JSOX (Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance requirements and direct experience applying them within complex IT environments (cloud and on-premise)
* Proven experience in conducting IT audits, including planning, execution, reporting of findings, and managing the entire audit life cycle
* Demonstrable ability to collaborate effectively with external auditors (e.g., Deloitte), providing documentation and evidence support
* Experience supporting post-merger integration (PMI) activities by implementing ITGCs for newly acquired entities
* Strong skills in project portfolio management (IT projects), ensuring alignment with compliance goals and budget monitoring
* Soft skills: Highly organised, detail-oriented, strong communication skills (essential for internal and external collaboration), and capable of full-time onsite commitment due to data sensitivity
* Languages: English (fluent), Dutch (desirable)
Job Description:
* Establish and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) across the client's vast portfolio of cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring continuous alignment with JSOX regulatory requirements
* Conduct regular internal audits to proactively assess the effectiveness and compliance status of all implemented ITGCs
* Drive post-merger integration compliance activities, implementing standardised ITGCs for all newly acquired entities to ensure seamless integration
* Serve as the main point of contact and support for external auditors (e.g., Deloitte) during IT compliance audits, coordinating evidence and documentation provision
* Manage the IT project portfolio from a compliance perspective, ensuring projects adhere to governance, timelines, and compliance goals
* Monitor and report on IT budget performance as related to compliance projects and ongoing audit activities
