Overview
Mission: Are you an engineer ready to install and maintain medical technology around the world? Join IBA’s mission to fight cancer by delivering advanced particle accelerators for radiopharmaceutical production. As a Field Service Engineer for Radiopharma Systems, you will install and maintain life-saving technologies at hospitals worldwide, focusing on high-energy (>30 MeV) accelerator components at customer locations to ensure reliable, high-quality systems within defined timelines. You will help deliver a final, reliable working product that meets quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements. You will represent IBA with confidence and expertise.
Responsibilities
* Install equipment/systems according to defined planning, timelines and operating processes
* Maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule and repair as needed to solve problems
* Debug and report bugs to the R&D Team; oversee testing of equipment/systems according to specifications
* Train less experienced colleagues to use equipment/systems properly and safely
* Document and report interventions and actions in the CMMS with appropriate detail and accuracy
* Be on call with the team to provide a helpdesk service and respond to client problems
Skills And Qualifications
* Master’s degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent through experience
* Experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting complex systems (ideally in high-energy physics, nuclear medicine, high-frequency systems, magnet power supplies, radar systems, or optical beam systems)
* Proven expertise in root-cause analysis and leading large-scale system troubleshooting
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and the IBA team
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

* Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly weekends
