Insurance Business Analyst - FL VI

As an Insurance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring and optimising insurance profitability within fleet insurance. You will combine data analysis, process expertise, and business insight, acting as a vital link between Operations, Sales, Management, and external partners.
What awaits you?
1. Risk & Data Driven Pricing: Analyse risk and claims data to provide well-founded pricing advice and support tender processes in close collaboration with the Pricing Desk.
2. Reporting & Data Quality: Deliver reliable reporting and maintain the quality of insurance data by developing dashboards and management reports to enable sound decision-making.
3. Process Optimisation & Application Management: Optimise processes and manage applications related to claims, contracts, and premium administration, including parameter management and drafting work instructions.
4. Stakeholder Management & Advisory Role: Serve as the main point of contact for insurance products, advising Sales, Operations, and Management while identifying trends and proposing improvement initiatives.
5. Representation & Communication: Represent the organisation in interactions with customers and suppliers, ensuring strong stakeholder management.
6. Project Support, Compliance & Self-Management: Support projects focused on digitalisation, efficiency, and risk management, ensuring compliance and contributing to application management.
7. Autonomous Teamwork & Continuous Improvement: Work autonomously within a self-managing team, with a continuous improvement mindset.
What should you bring along?
8. Bachelor's or master’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, with experience in the insurance sector (especially fleet insurance, risk management, pricing, underwriting, or claims handling) considered a strong advantage.
9. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proven experience in data processing, reporting, and interpreting trends to provide clear recommendations.
10. Experience in process optimisation and application management is beneficial.
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective stakeholder management across Sales, Operations, Management, brokers, and insurers.
12. Detail-oriented, structured, and quality-focused in documentation and reporting, able to work independently while prioritising tasks efficiently.
13. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, identifying improvement opportunities and taking ownership of risk assessments, data quality, and process enhancements.
14. Strong project management capabilities, planning and documenting work effectively, with a customer-focused approach to meet the needs of internal and external partners.
