As the EA, you will report directly to the CDTO and define clear directions to enable Digital Transformation, considering the current AS-IS situation and the future TO-BE architecture. You will give clear advice and are responsible for ensuring the execution of business strategies by developing the best Information System based on best practices and clear recommendations.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the creation and maturation of the enterprise architecture practice management within Ethias.
* Promoting the business value as an enabler of strategy formulation and supporting technology innovation to drive organizational growth.
* Defining principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solutions align with the future-state architecture vision.
* Creating reference architectures focusing on dependencies between business and IT.
* Providing leadership, analysis, and design tasks to support the development of technology solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
Additional responsibilities:
* Understanding business drivers and capabilities, designing enterprise systems, and determining change requirements to achieve targeted business outcomes.
* Leading analysis of future-state capabilities and IT environments to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
* Presenting gap analyses and IT investment roadmaps reflecting the current IT estate's ability to support future business capabilities.
* Facilitating the evaluation and selection of software products, solutions, and services, including designing configurations.
As the Architect, you will support EA activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions.
Candidate profile
Skills and talents you bring:
* Strong Enterprise Architecture skills with the ability to balance long-term and short-term implications of decisions and organizational goals.
* Organizational savvy and understanding of enterprise politics to navigate obstacles.
* Ability to bridge technical and non-technical gaps, mediating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
* Resilience under stress and good persuasion skills.
* Fluent in French and English.
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of frontend Java, low-code OutSystems, and API connectivity.
* Experience with cloud roadmaps.
* Knowledge of mainframe connectivity.
* Experience with Salesforce (CRM/Marketing).
