We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Business Development Advisor to strengthen an ambitious Business Development, Marketing & Communication (BMC) team in Brussels. You will be a driving force behind various business development initiatives - ensuring that ideas become results.
You will be working closely with lawyers and international BMC colleagues, you will help strengthen the firm's market position, identify and pursue business opportunities, and contribute directly to our firm's growth.
As Business Development Advisor your role will be: Supporting the Business Development Manager
and partner group with day-to-day business development operations; Drafting and coordinating pitches, client proposals, and legal directory submissions; Supporting and following up on client, ensuring actions are implemented and tracked; Conducting market and client analyses to support the BD Manager and partner group in their strategic decision-making and uncover growth opportunities; Managing and updating BD-related databases
(CRM, client lists, pitch database); Providing operational support to the wider BMC team where necessary, and occasional backup for events and communications projects.
Ideal profile as Business Development Advisor: A degree in business, law or equivalent professional experience; 3-5 years of experience in a professional services or consultancy environment (law firm experience is a plus); Excellent communication skills in English, and strong professional proficiency in Dutch and French; Solid analytical and IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); A hands-on, pragmatic approach with attention to detail; A natural sense of ownership and a "get it done" attitude.
