We're working with a fast-growing mobility technology company based in Hasselt looking for an experienced Android Developer to join its engineering team.

Responsibilities
* Design and maintain advanced Android applications
* Build modern mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
* Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams
* Contribute to software architecture and technical decision-making
* Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
* Support the continuous evolution of the company’s mobility platform and products
Requirements
* Strong professional experience in Android development
* Excellent knowledge of Kotlin
* Solid experience with Jetpack Compose
* Good understanding of Java and experience working with existing Android codebases
* Versatile software engineering background with strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, testing, and scalable application development
* Experience integrating REST APIs and modern mobile architectures
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in mobility, transportation, IoT, or connected products
* Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, or MVI
* Experience with offline-first or real-time xirbnpk mobile applications
* Exposure to cloud platforms or backend technologies
* Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store
