Your role
1. Join Capgemini as a Junior System Administrator and be part of a team responsible for a large landscape of virtual servers used to run a PeopleSoft HRIS implementation including the production environment.
2. You are able to effectivelymunicate to the different teams of the customer who can be Dutch or French speaking.
3. You have an eye for introducing points for improvement and are able to automate tasks using for example shell scripting.
4. You are aware of latest cybersecurity trends and are able to implement guidelines to maintain a secure infrastructure landscape. Knowledge of OWASP is a plus.
5. You can assist to create and follow a planning to roll-out upgrades of the different applications to a higher version.
6. You have good knowledge of Windows system administration and know your way around Linux as well. This supports both the current Windows landscape and a future transition to Linux as foreseen in our roadmap. You will be part of this transition plan and drive the end-to-end activities.
7. You will be part of a Capgemini team working closely with the customer. Personal and professional growth are important for us, so we'll coach you in growing further.
8. You will work from several locations, depending on your, our and the customer needs: from our Diegem office, from your own place and from the customers.
Your profile
9. You have a Bachelor Electronics-ICT or Applied Informatics with a specialization in system and network administration or a similar specialization
10. General knowledge of (Oracle) Linux is a must
11. Knowledge of public cloud platform concepts is a plus
12. Knowledge of Windows Server is a plus
13. Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration is a plus
14. Knowledge in shell scripting is a plus
15. Dutch or French spreaker, but both is a plus
16. You are client oriented and a real problem solver
17. You also are a team player and have a creative mindset
