About the Role
As a Data Consultant, you work on end-to-end data initiatives: from collecting, modelling and transforming data to analysing, visualising and operationalising it. You support organisations in making informed decisions and building strong data foundations.
Responsibilities
* Collect, clean and transform data from various sources.
* Build dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or Excel.
* Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
* Support or develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and contribute to cloud-based data environments.
* Model datasets and contribute to efficient data structures.
* Identify patterns, insights and opportunities to support business decision-making.
* Collaborate closely with analysts, engineers and business teams.
* Contribute to improving data quality, documentation and best practices.
* Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Profile
* You have a Master's Degree
* Minimum 2 years of experience as Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Data Engineer.
* Solid knowledge of SQL and at least one analytics or visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
* Understanding of data modelling, data structures and relational databases.
* Experience with Python or ETL processes is a strong plus.
* Ability to analyse data, identify trends and translate insights into clear recommendations.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity.
* Curiosity, accuracy and a proactive way of working.
* Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) is an advantage.
* Fluency in Dutch and proficient in French is a plus
