One of our clients is currently looking for a Business Developer in Brussels.

We are seeking a driven and bilingual (Dutch/French) Business Developer to grow the professional service provider segment. In this role, you will actively engage with independent professionals—such as plumbers, electricians, and gardeners—demonstrating how the platform can support and expand their business. You’ll be responsible for converting inbound leads, executing outbound strategies, and helping shape the overall sales approach. This is a great opportunity for a proactive salesperson who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building something from the ground up.

Accountabilities:

* Convert inbound leads into paying customers, ensuring a high conversion rate
* Define and execute outbound sales strategies including calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
* Identify and develop new acquisition channels such as partnerships and referrals
* Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness
* Monitor key sales metrics and adjust tactics to meet targets
* Use CRM tools and sales automation to drive efficiency and scale outreach
* Analyze customer behavior and provide feedback to improve product and sales strategy
* Work closely with the internal sales team to align goals and share best practices

Requirements

* Fluent in Dutch and French (written and spoken at a professional level)
* Proven success in sales, ideally within a startup or scale-up environment
* Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills, particularly over the phone
* Self-starter with a track record of ownership and initiative
* Comfortable working with self-employed professionals and small businesses
* Proficient in CRM platforms and sales tools
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting
* English proficiency (B2 or above) is a plus, as internal communication is often in English
