Engineering Departmental Compliance Lead Geel, Belgium Hybrid working: 3 days on‑site | 2 days remote The Opportunity An established, highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site is looking for a Departmental Compliance Lead to champion quality, compliance, and inspection readiness across a critical function. This role combines strategic oversight with practical execution, working closely with operational leaders and quality partners to ensure compliant, efficient, and inspection‑ready processes. What You’ll Do Act as the department’s compliance focal point, providing guidance, oversight, and challenge Ensure key processes, systems, and metrics meet internal quality standards and regulatory expectations Drive a strong culture of inspection readiness, acting as departmental representative during audits and walkthroughs Coordinate risk management activities, including identification, escalation, and mitigation of compliance risks Oversee timely completion of CAPAs, commitments, and remediation actions Partner closely with QA and site leadership to align priorities and share best practices What We’re Looking For Solid experience in quality, compliance, or regulatory roles within a GxP environment Good understanding of inspection readiness and quality systems Confident working cross‑functionally and influencing stakeholders at different levels Organised, pragmatic, and improvement‑driven Languages Dutch : nice to have, not essential English : required Why Join High‑visibility role with real influence on site compliance performance Hybrid working model offering flexibility Collaborative, quality‑driven environment with strong leadership support
