As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and product management, to design and execute comprehensive test strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and has a background in testing.
1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of product features and functionality.
2. Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process.
3. Collaborate with development teams to identify and debug issues, and work towards resolution.
4. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
6. Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to assess system reliability and scalability.
7. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in test engineering.
Profile
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
9. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software test engineering.
10. Programming skills in languages such as Javascript, Python, or C#.
11. Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems.
12. Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
14. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
