The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Director, Global Launch Lead to lead the global launch of empasiprubart in Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN), currently in Phase 3. This is a high-impact role that will shape the global launch strategy, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure market readiness for a therapy poised to transform the MMN treatment landscape.
You will be a key member of the Global Commercialization community and Chair of the MMN Indication Commercialization Team (ICT), collaborating across geographies and disciplines to deliver an integrated launch plan that maximizes the value of empasiprubart.

Location: Belgium/Switzerland (remote) or in the US, (Prefer East Coast, but not mandatory.)
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and lead the global launch strategy for empasiprubart in MMN, aligned with argenx Vision 2030
2. Drive launch readiness across functions including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, CMC, Scientific Communications, and Commercial Operations
3. Oversee brand creation and positioning for empasiprubart
4. Define and monitor launch KPIs, adjusting strategies to ensure success
5. Chair the ICT and serve as the central point of contact for global launch activities
6. Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders (HCPs, KOLs, advocacy groups, regulators)
7. Ensure compliance with global regulatory and ethical standards
8. Lead budget planning and resource allocation for launch activities
9. Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions
Qualifications
10. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD) preferred
11. 12+ years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech, including marketing and sales
12. Proven success launching rare disease therapies; US launch experience required, international experience strongly preferred
13. Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
14. Deep understanding of global regulatory and promotional compliance
15. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
16. Ability to influence without authority and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
17. Willingness to travel (~30%)
Preferred Skills
18. Experience launching rare disease biologics globally
19. Commercial expertise in neurology and autoimmune diseases
20. Strong knowledge of market access strategies, including pricing and reimbursement

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $236,000.00 - $324,500.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.
