Are you a hands-on technician with experience working on trucks and trailers?Do you enjoy working independently and ensuring that heavy vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready for operation? For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Truck Technician who is motivated to maintain and repair heavy vehicles. As a Truck Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers from different brands. You will work independently to diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and ensure that vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Your responsibilities: ✅ Performing preventive maintenance and repair work on trucks and trailers ✅ Carrying out routine service tasks such as oil changes, brake maintenance, and vehicle inspections ✅ Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults independently ✅ Using diagnostic tools to identify and fix technical problems ✅ Providing on-site assistance and repairing tail lifts when required ✅ Inspecting, testing, and adjusting braking systems to ensure optimal performance ✅ Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment ✅ Using tools, equipment, and personal protective gear responsibly and safely ✅ Reporting completed work and technical findings clearly to colleagues and customers

1. You have a passion for commercial vehicles and their technology
2. At least several years of experience as a car mechanic
3. Perform independent maintenance and repairs
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
5. Use diagnostic computers and read vehicle systems
6. Problem-solving and attention to detail
7. Work safely with tools and personal protective equipment
8. You communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
9. You are positive, professional team player
Opleiding: Study level A3/A2 car mechanics or equivalent through experience Study level Bachelor Automotive Technology or equivalent through experience
Vakkennis: Technical knowledge of trucks, trailers, brakes, and hydraulic systems Experience with diagnostic equipment and interpreting electrical schematics Understanding of maintenance and repair techniques for heavy vehicles Knowledge of preparing vehicles for operation and performing roadside assistance Insight into brake systems and tail lifts
Talenkennis: Communicative English skills at B1 - B2 level
Attesten: A category B driving licence is required; categories C or C+E are considered an advantage.
Wat bieden wij jou?
10. Competitive hourly wage starting from €18 to €21 gross, depending on experience and qualifications
11. Meal Vouchers: €5.50 per working day
12. Working Hours: 39 hours per week, with the opportunity for paid overtime (150% rate) — up to 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturday mornings
13. Shifts: Two shift options available — 8:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00
