We're partnering with a regulated financial services business in Brussels to appoint a Legal & Compliance Manager into a high-impact, standalone role.
This position sits close to senior leadership and will take ownership of regulatory compliance, legal oversight, and governance across the business.
ScopeOwnership of compliance framework and monitoringInterpretation and implementation of Belgian & EU regulation (incl. FSMA, AML, GDPR)Acting as Data Protection leadOversight of regulatory reporting and authority engagementLegal input across commercial activities and agreementsAdvising the business on risk, conduct, and regulatory change
RequirementsLegal and compliance experience in BelgiumStrong working knowledge of FSMA-regulated environmentsProven exposure to AML / GDPR frameworksAbility to operate in a standalone or lead capacity
