Senior HR Manager / Regional HR Lead (m/f/d)
Location: Brussels
For a European industrial group with an international footprint, we are currently looking for a Senior HR Manager / Regional HR Lead to strengthen the Group HR function. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, working across countries, and taking ownership in complex operational environments.
In this position, you will combine local HR responsibility with European projects, act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, and play a key role in further strengthening and professionalising HR across multiple sites.
Your role:
1. End-to-end HR responsibility for at least one country, with an initial focus on Belgium and a broader scope including UK and other European countries
2. Acting as a senior HR partner to the business, advising management on all people-related topics
3. Strong presence at operational sites, especially in complex or sensitive situations
4. Handling employee and labor relations, including interaction with works councils and unions
5. Leading and coordinating local HR teams and interfaces across sites and countries
6. Taking ownership of European HR projects, such as: Reviewing and evolving performance and evaluation systems Supporting the opening of new sites in different countries Driving harmonisation and best practices across regions
7. Acting as a key link between Group HR and local HR, ensuring alignment while respecting local realities
8. Supporting organisational development and change initiatives in a dynamic, growing environment

Your profile:
14. Several years of experience in senior HR roles, ideally in operational, multi-site environments
15. Proven exposure to employee and labor relations; experience with unions or works councils is a strong advantage
16. Experience managing and coordinating HR teams across locations
17. Comfortable operating in complex, fast-moving situations, including crisis or escalation scenarios
18. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to act as a calm, credible sparring partner to senior leaders
19. A pragmatic, hands-on mindset with a high level of autonomy
20. No “big egos” – you value collaboration, trust and constructive dialogue
21. Fluency in English is required; French or Dutch is a strong advantage
22. Willingness to be present on site when needed and to adapt to changing regional responsibilities
