Position Title
Senior Manager RA Strategy Portfolio & Ops
Purpose
As the Senior Manager RA Strategy Portfolio & Ops (Sr. Mgr., RA Tech Portfolio Innovation), you are responsible for leading the evaluation and strategic assessment of new and innovative technologies to serve the process, data and technology portfolio. This role will involve conducting feasibility studies, experimentation, and proof of concepts (POCs) to inform decision‑making and prioritize initiatives within the portfolio. You will also analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to ensure a balanced portfolio that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
You Will Be Responsible For
Lead evaluations of emerging technologies and assess their alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct feasibility studies and experimentation to support the development of POCs for new technology initiatives.
Make informed decisions regarding project prioritization and viability based on thorough analysis.
Perform comprehensive market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Facilitate portfolio balancing to ensure resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technology solutions.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on evaluation outcomes and market trends.
Implement and execute a methodology to evaluate the business case for and prioritize initiatives within the portfolio.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure progress and report regularly to stakeholders.
Partner with initiative leaders to identify and manage risks associated with the initiatives in the portfolio.
Ensure that the initiatives within the portfolio are aligned with GRA strategic goals and objectives.
Identify the key value drivers and develop the business case for each initiative within the portfolio.
Track the realization of benefits for each initiative and evaluate the actual benefits achieved.
Communicate the value created by the initiatives to key stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in scientific, business or technical discipline, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or a related field – required.
Master’s degree highly preferred.
Work Experience
8‑10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry – required.
People and team management experience highly preferred.
Technical Competency / Skills
Strong understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain, IoT) and their applications across industries – required.
Experience in technology evaluation methodologies and frameworks – required.
Analytical Skills
Proven ability to conduct thorough market and competitive analysis – preferred.
Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on feasibility assessments and strategic decision‑making – required.
Project Management
Experience in managing projects or initiatives, including POCs, from inception to completion – required.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools – plus.
Adaptability & Innovation
Willingness to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies – required.
A creative mindset to explore and evaluate novel technology solutions – required.

Pay Range
Poland: 278,000.00 – 478,400.00 PLN
Belgium: 96,000.00 – 165,025.00 EUR
Netherlands: 82,900.00 – 144,210.00 EUR (includes 8% holiday allowance)
