Are you passionate about advancing particle separation solutions and making an impact on both liquid and gas applications? As a project engineer filtration at the Atlas Copco Airpower site in Antwerp, you will play a central role in our dynamic R&D team. You will work closely with technology leaders filtration and be the key link between the lab and product development, supporting our mission to improve performance and reduce ecological footprint.
Your main responsibilities as project engineer filtration include executing measurements, analyzing test results, and preparing detailed reports. You will support the design and construction of test setups and methods, while mastering state-of-the-art measurement equipment for particle analysis. You will contribute to identifying improved materials, filtration concepts, and technologies, balancing performance with sustainability. This role also gives you the opportunity to take your first steps in project management, following up on test plans and identifying knowledge gaps. You will report directly to the team leader R&D filtration & separation, working on-site in Antwerp alongside a small, collaborative team of technology enthusiasts.

1. Master's degree in chemical engineering, bioscience engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
2. You are hands-on and are thrilled by executing experiments in the lab
3. You have great analytical skills
4. You have a pragmatic approach to new challenges and the ability to switch tasks quickly, depending on priorities
5. Good communication skills and English proficiency are required, basic communication skills in Dutch is a plus
