Role Description
As an (Assistant) Buyer, you are a crucial link within our supply chain. You ensure that the right products, materials, and components are purchased on time, under the best conditions, and with an eye for quality. You work closely with the Head of Purchase and colleagues from other departments to ensure the entire purchasing process runs smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to your accuracy, communicative approach, and sense of responsibility, you contribute to the continuity of our production and deliveries.
Qualifications
* Experience with procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control
* Strong skills in organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
* Proficiency in spreadsheet and ERP systems, as well as other digital tools relevant to purchasing
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration abilities
* Fluency in Dutch and English; additional language skills are a plus
* Prior experience in a similar role and knowledge of the furniture or design industry is an advantage
* Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and adapt to fast-paced environments
