Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a compelling culinary visionfor all hotel outlets, including restaurants, banquets, room service, and events.
2. Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
3. Ensure seamless operations across multiple food and beverage outlets and events, maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
4. Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentationfor all outlets, adapting to seasonal trends and guest preferences.
5. Work closely with hotel management and other departmentsto align culinary offerings with overall hotel strategy and guest expectations.
6. Monitor kitchen performance, manage budgets, and control costswhile maintaining exceptional quality.
7. Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulationsat all times.
9. Handle guest feedback and special requestswith professionalism and creativity.
Requirements
10. Proven experience as a Kitchen Director or Executive Chef in high-volume hotel environmentswith multiple outlets and events.
11. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff at all levels.
12. Approachable, responsible, and communicative personality—a true people person who values open dialogue and teamwork1.
13. Fluent in English, French, and Dutch(spoken and written).
