Construction Project Manager - MEP / Electrical (Mission Critical)
Location: Walloon Region, Belgium (on-site)
Type: Permanent or Contract (day rate)
Language: English (French or Dutch a plus)
This is a hands-on delivery role for a construction Project Manager who is early to mid-career and ready to step up on complex builds.
You don’t need to be an HV substation specialist. You do need solid on-site PM fundamentals and enough MEP and electrical understanding to co-ordinate contractors, manage interfaces, and keep programme, quality, and safety tight.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage day-to-day site delivery across construction and MEP interfaces (with an electrical leaning)
* Co-ordinate subcontractors, sequencing, access, permits, RAMS, and short-interval planning
* Track progress vs programme and drive actions through site walks, reporting, and follow-ups
* Own snagging and quality checks, pushing close-out with contractors and vendors
* Support commissioning readiness and handover (documentation, testing coordination, punch lists)
* Manage risks, changes, and commercial basics (variations, delays, scope clarification) with support from senior leads
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders on site - no drama, just outcomes
What we’re looking for
* 3 - 4+ years in a construction PM / Project Co-ordinator / Assistant PM type role, site-based delivery
* Exposure to MEP packages and strong comfort around electrical scope (LV works, containment, testing support, interface management)
* Practical mindset - you spot issues early and chase them down
* Strong organisation, reporting, and stakeholder management
* Safety-first and quality-focused
* Data centres, energy, industrial, pharma, or other complex builds are all relevant
Why it’s attractive
* Step-up opportunity on mission-critical projects with experienced teams around you
* Real delivery exposure - not a desk-only “reporting PM” role
* Clear pathway into bigger packages and broader responsibility as you perform
Interviews are in person or virtual (video required).
