Mission Exail Robotics Belgium, a leader in high-tech autonomous maritime systems, develops and manufactures cutting-edge surface and underwater drone solutions for defense, commercial, and scientific applications.We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the evolution of our autonomous maritime systems from concept to deployment.In this role, you will be the strategic and operational link between our engineering, commercial, and operational teams. You will own the product roadmap and lifecycle of our maritime drones, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs, market trends, and technological will work at the intersection of innovation and execution, leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of world-class robotic solutions.Key responsibilities:Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for maritime drone platforms (Unmanned surface and underwater vehicles, towed underwater vehicles, remotely operated vehicles...).Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, field teams, and stakeholders.Overview of the product lifecycle from concept through design, development, validation, and deployment.Work closely with engineering to scope features, define technical feasibility, and align delivery timelines.Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological developments to inform strategic decisions.Represent the product in customer meetings, exhibits, and demos.Create clear product documentation (Product Requirement Documents, feature briefs, release notes...).Drive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer support.Use data and user feedback to iterate on features and improve performance and usability Profile Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Naval Architecture, or related field.Experience in product management, systems engineering, or similar roles ideally in robotics, defense, or maritime technology.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.Ability to translate technical complexity into clear customer value.Fluent in French or Dutch, and English (spoken and written).Technical stack:While this is not a hands-on engineering role, familiarity with the following tools and technologies is valuable:Product & Project Tools: Jira, ConfluenceDocumentation & Collaboration: Microsoft Office Data Analysis: Excel, Power BI (basic level)Engineering Context (a plus):Communication Protocols: NMEA, Ethernet, acoustic modemsAutonomy & Navigation: GNSS, INS, LIDAR, SONAR
