Functieomschrijving
* You calculate in detail the strength andstability of steel structures and related detail connectionsaccording to the standards and proprietaryobjectives.
* Additionally, during assembly work,you must calculate the stability of thestructures.
* For the calculations, you determineand collect basic data such as loads, plans, calculation methods,and schedules.
* You obtain a cost-efficient andeconomical product for the drawing office, production, andassembly.
* You create lifting and handlinginstructions.
* If technical problems areidentified by the drawing office or Project Manager, you solvethem, always taking into account norms, regulations, andstandards.
* You respect the planning and reportany problems in a timely manner.
Functie-eisen
* You hold a Master's degree in ConstructionEngineering and preferably have initial experience in a similarposition.
* You possess technical knowledge ofmaterials.
* You are well-versed in the theory ofstrength.
* You are thoroughly familiar withvarious European standards; for example, the EN 1993 series holdsno secrets for you.
* You are acquainted with DNVGL standards and understand FEM models.
* Youhave experience with software packages such as SCIA Engineer,ANSYS, and/or AutoCAD 2D/3D.
* You have aproficient command of English.
* You can workautonomously as well as in a team.
* You may beeither a motivated school leaver or an experiencedprofessional.
