Job Description
Record and validate accounting entries (invoices, expenses)
Manage supplier payments and payment terms
Prepare payment runs and reconcile accounts
Post customer receipts and reconcile banks
Monitor aged receivables and follow up on payments
Manage credit risks and high-risk accounts
Resolve billing issues with internal teams
Support monthly and annual closings
Ensure accuracy of financial data and reports
Maintain filing and archiving
Provide administrative support to management
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience as a GL Accountant
Strong knowledge of Belgian and/or French GAAP
High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
Comfortable working under deadlines and handling pressure
Strong organizational and time-management skills
