We are looking for a motivated HR Generalist to take ownership of the HR function for our Professional Tools Business Unit in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, while also supporting wider HR activities across several European countries. This role blends hands-on administration with strategic HR initiatives, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on both local and international levels. You will report directly to the HR Business Partner and collaborate closely with international and local HR teams.

1. Create and implement HR policies and procedures, providing guidance to support business operations.
2. Manage international recruitment and selection in collaboration with the recruitment team in Cluj and/or local agencies.
3. Take charge of all administrative tasks concerning the employee lifecycle, covering contracts, payroll, benefits, training administration, and system updates (Oracle HCM), in coordination with HR Operations and HR representatives at the local level.
4. Drive the roll-out of HR initiatives across Europe, including job mapping, salary planning, performance and talent management, and benefits harmonization.
5. Prepare and maintain HR reports (., workforce reporting, Professional Tools HR reporting).
6. Recommend process and policy improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
7. Organize internal communication initiatives and support local employee events.

For This Role, You Will Need:
8. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Law, or equivalent HR experience
9. Approximately 2 years of experience in human resources or a related domain
10. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
11. Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools
12. Proficiency in Dutch, English, and German
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
13. Advanced education in HR or an MBA or equivalent experience
14. Experience working in an international matrix organization
