In order to grow further, address new markets and better serve our customers, we are looking for a dynamic Robotics Electronics engineer to join our development team, based in Wavre, Belgium. Let’s talk about your role Under the supervision of the Electronics team leader, after acquiring an understanding of our existing and planned robotic products, you will work on multiple projects (field issue analysis, PCB design, test development, product improvement, …) Key responsibilities : Design new electronic boards, supervise the production and validate them Validate the integration with the mechanics and the embedded software Develop maintenance and testing procedures for those boards and create the required test benches Participate in the electronics aspects of the product certification Participate in the sourcing of the electronics components Maintain the boards over their lifetime: obsolete components, changing requirements and regulations Analyse & debug field issues. Take action if required Support the production team if needed Your Profile Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position Experience with an electronic CAD tool (Altium Designer), LTSpice, … Knowledge and understanding of PCB assembly, PCB manufacturing, DFM/DFT, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems design, Motor control design and EMC/RED compliance Experience with Embedded SW development, Mechanical design and/ or Python scripting is a plus Understanding of communication protocols (CAN bus, serial, USB, SPI, I²C, …) Hands on: usage of oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, soldering skills Good capacity to debug and solve hardware issues Excellent relational and communication skills in English.
