Nexeo is currently looking for a SAP Technical Project Manager for one of the major public transport companies in Belgium.
Nexeo is a consulting company supporting clients in the banking, finance, insurance, and public sectors through all phases of their transformation projects, from business consulting to IT implementation.
Mission Context
As part of the SAP transformation program and the post-migration stabilization towards SAP S/4HANA, several strategic technical initiatives must be structured, coordinated, and delivered to modernize the SAP ecosystem, reduce technical debt, and secure future SAP foundations.
The mission focuses on managing technical SAP transformation streams such as:
* Migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
* Modernization of the Fiori Launchpad towards SAP BTP / Work Zone
* Coordination of Landscape, Connectivity & Platform (LCP) topics
* Technical adaptations related to SAP RISE / ECS
* Coordination between SAP, satellite applications, infrastructure, security, and external partners
* Preparation of the transition towards RUN & AMS support models
The Project Manager will join the Business Solutions department and report directly to the Build &
Your Responsibilities
As a SAP Technical Project Manager, you will:
SAP Technical Project Structuring & Governance
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and planning
* Structure technical initiatives into clear work packages
* Coordinate project governance, steering committees, and reporting activities
* Manage budgets, risks, RAID logs, dependencies, and escalation processes
* Ensure alignment with the global SAP roadmap and transformation strategy
PI/PO to CPI Migration Management
* Coordinate the inventory and classification of existing interfaces
* Define migration strategies and priorities
* Manage dependencies between SAP S/4HANA, satellite systems, and external partners
* Coordinate developments, testing phases, cutovers, and operational readiness
* Challenge technical estimations, migration assumptions, and operational impacts
Fiori / SAP BTP Transformation
* Coordinate the migration and modernization of the SAP Fiori landscape
* Collaborate with SAP Security, IAM, Infrastructure, and Workplace teams
* Supervise access, role, authentication, and performance testing
* Ensure proper go-live preparation and transition to operational support teams
Landscape, Connectivity & Platform Coordination
* Coordinate technical topics related to SAP ECS / RISE environments
* Manage connectivity, certificates, Web Dispatcher, firewall, DNS, and infrastructure dependencies
* Follow-up on platform availability, resilience, monitoring, and performance
* Coordinate technical suppliers and external SAP partners
RUN & AMS Transition
* Ensure proper operational handover and documentation
* Prepare support procedures, monitoring models, and hypercare activities
* Clarify internal/external responsibilities and rollback procedures
Expected Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in IT Project Management
* Strong experience in technical SAP projects
* Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
* Experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, or Fiori environments
* Experience managing complex multi-system SAP landscapes
* Strong knowledge of project governance, budgeting, planning, and executive reporting
* Experience coordinating internal teams, SAP integrators, and external vendors
* Strong understanding of infrastructure, connectivity, security, and integration topics
* Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business-oriented communication
