For one of our customers we are looking for a Group Controller @ interim.

Responsibilities
As a Group Controller, you are the overall responsible for performance analysis and management reporting for the Group. You will take on the responsibility to follow-up the performance of the business, as well as taking the lead in liquidity planning, cost management, MBR, Reporting, Re-forecast, FP&A and follow-up of overhead expenses and maintenance costs on group level.
Responsible for the adequate and timely monthly reporting process and performance follow-up of all departments.
Follow-up group overhead expenses and create cost awareness of management.
Support the business controllers to determine specific recommendations for performance improvement based on an understanding of the results, variance analysis compared with budgets and forecasts, to benchmark these results internally and externally.
Analysis of maintenance expenses and improvement program in close co-operation with the technical department.
Coordinate the annual budget cycle, the formatting of interim forecasts, as well as regularly updating the LT business plan.
You act as a Business Partner.
You coordinate investment approvals and you are also responsible for the central monitoring of the investment budgets and the a posteriori efficiency calculation.
You will report to the Group CFO, assisting him in ad hoc analysis, acquisitions and investment projects.
Profile
You have a Master in Economics or similar.
You have at least 10 years of experience in Finance / Business Control of which minimum 5 year in a managerial position.
Good knowledge of analytical and reporting systems within an ERP environment and extensive hands-on skills in Excel, and Office applications.
Strong analytical mind and an autonomous working methodology, combined with a hands-on mentality and the work style of a dynamic and critical team player.
You are result- and solution-oriented and you focus on value creation.
You are organized, focused on deadlines, data integrity and consistency.
You are an excellent bridge-builder between the business units involved.
Experience of working within an international context.
You are accurate, punctual and business-oriented.
You have excellent communication skills and have good spoken and written knowledge of French and English.
