We seek individuals who share our values and vision. As a Technical Sales Manager – Concrete - Europe, your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, driving product qualifications, and providing technical support to our concrete customers.
Your Impact in This Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Technical Business Development: Act as the technical expert for concrete applications, identify growth opportunities, develop relationships with customers’ technical teams.
* Technical & Application Support: Help customers overcome technical barriers, provide technical expertise, monitor industry regulations.
* Customer Complaint Management: Lead investigations into complex customer complaints, collaborate with various teams.
* Quality & Continuous Improvement: Monitor product quality, identify trends, resolve deviations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
* Experience: Minimum 7 years in the concrete industry, preferably with raw materials or additives suppliers.
* Industry Knowledge: Expertise in concrete applications, formulations, raw materials, processing, testing, SCMs.
* Technical Skills: Ability to assess and develop new product opportunities.
* Behavioral Skills: Proactive, independent, strong communication, goal-oriented, persistent, team-oriented.
* Language Requirements: Fluent in English; French or German is a must; additional languages are a plus.
* Travel: Willing to travel up to 70% across customer sites and Sibelco locations.
