As we are growing, we are looking for an IT Business Partner to strengthen our team. As an IT Business Partner, you act as the strategic interface between business teams and the IT department to ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives. You identify business needs, propose suitable technological solutions, and ensure their effective implementation in close collaboration with Safran Group teams.
Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. Your Mission
Collect and analyze business requirements to translate them into relevant IT solutions.
Lead IT projects in coordination with operational departments (planning, budget, quality) and Safran IT teams.
Ensure consistency of IT initiatives with Safran’s technical and strategic orientations.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users.
Monitor the performance of IT solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to digital innovation and transformation within the organization.
Position based across our two sites at Brussels Airport, with partial remote work.
Daily interactions with business departments, local and Safran IT teams, and external providers.
Occasional travel to other Safran sites.
Your Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering with an IT specialization.
5 to 10 years of experience in IT project management or in roles related to IT solution deployment.
Experience in an international or multi-site environment is a plus.
Solid understanding of information systems, ERP, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Good understanding of business processes (finance, HR, supply chain, etc.).
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and foster collaboration.
Results‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of service.
Fluent in French and English with intermediate proficiency in Dutch.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work and residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
