Mission
As General Manager of the Product Company in Antwerp, your mission is to lead with purpose and impact. You will be responsible for shaping and executing a forward-looking strategy that ensures operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive strategic transformation by aligning local operations with global business goals, ensuring agility, competitiveness, and long-term value creation.
* Lead the manufacturing unit with a strong focus on operational excellence, quality, safety, and sustainable results.
* Empower and develop diverse talent, cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in trust, inclusion, and leadership by example.
* Develop and execute the local strategy aligned with the Division's vision and Portable Air global objectives.
* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging digitalization, lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance productivity, quality, and responsiveness.
* Strengthen customer proximity by ensuring fast, localized, and value-driven solutions that meet evolving market demands.
* Manage cross-functional teams with a focus on competence development, engagement, and diversity.
* Champion sustainability and resilience, embedding Environment, Social and Governance principles into operations, supply chain, and product development to future-proof the business.
* Act as a strategic connector, building synergies across Product Company, Customer Centers, and Divisional teams to maximize impact and shared success.
To succeed, you will need
Experience:
* Proven experience in managing industrial operations.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
* Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities.
Knowledge and Education:
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
* Fluency in Dutch and English.
* University degree in Engineering, or related fields; MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
Personality Requirements:
