What would the ideal candidate look like?
* University degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the the construction field.
* Previous experience with large industrial projects.
* Proficiency in project management software, specifically MS Project.
* Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
* Excellent MS Office skills.
* Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems.
* Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
* Willingness and availability for project-related travel and relocation.
What are the responsibilities?
* Take charge of diverse construction projects, overseeing them from inception to successful completion.
* Cultivate strong relationships with various stakeholders, including industrial clients, vendors, contractors, and external organizations, ensuring open lines of communication.
* Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment, facilitating effective teamwork.
* Thoroughly plan projects, including scheduling, deliverable management, and cost estimation.
* Proactively manage changes to project scope and schedule, minimizing any potential disruptions.
* Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
* Maintain a vigilant focus on on-site and off-site safety, enforcing adherence to safety standards.
* Monitor and report on contractual performance, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
* Continuously review daily work progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.
* Prepare thorough internal and external reports, offering insights into project status and addressing any concerns.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects to ensure successful outcomes.
* Uphold stringent construction standards and proper techniques through a robust quality control program.
