We are looking for a Global Medical Lead (rare neuromuscular disease indication) who is passionate, collaborative, and strategic to join us in our Medical Communities team, based in our Brussels office in Belgium or Slough, UK.
About the role
You will be working in a team that leads the medical strategy for a rare neuromuscular disease indication. You will provide medical expertise and executional leadership to support solution adoption and enhance care standards, working closely with internal and external partners to advance patient care.

You will be working in a diverse, cross-functional team that includes medical affairs professionals, scientific communicators, and regional experts. You will also engage with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and healthcare professionals to ensure alignment and excellence in medical strategy.
What you’ll do
1. Lead the development and execution of the global medical affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with overall asset strategy.
2. Serve as a core member of the Patient Strategy Leadership Team and lead the indication medical subteam.
3. Build and maintain trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and healthcare professionals.
4. Provide medical leadership for scientific communication, raising disease awareness and ensuring scientific accuracy.
5. Collaborate with regional and local teams to secure adoption and understanding of the medical strategy.
6. Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
7. Medical degree (M.D.) or Ph.D.; specialization in Neurology or Neuroimmunology is preferred. Experience in Multiple Sclerosis or similar disease indication would be appreciated.
8. Significant experience in medical affairs, with a proven track record in developing and implementing medical strategies.
9. Deep understanding of the drug development process, regulatory requirements, and the healthcare environment.
10. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable insights.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
12. Experience working in a matrix environment and a commitment to ethical practices and compliance.
